PHOENIX — On Friday morning, Sheronda Dyer was found dead in a south Phoenix home by Phoenix Police officers. The father of her child, Eddie Lauderdale, is in custody.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to a residence just before 11 a.m., near 59th Avenue and Broadway Road.
Police say a family member of the 41-year-old Dyer came to the home and found her “with obvious signs of trauma.”
The 35-year-old Lauderdale was charged with 1 count of Weapons and Explosives, 1 count of Homicide, and 1 count of Crimes Against Children.
