SURPRISE, AZ — The Surprise Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident near 158th Drive and Paradise Lane.
Police say officers responded to a call of a shooting near the area around 1:30 p.m. When officers arrived they found a woman with a gunshot wound. The woman was taken to a hospital.
Police located the suspect in this incident inside the home. Police say it appears the suspect took his own life.
