Four people are dead as a result of a shooting at a Tucson trailer park that occurred early Sunday.

According to the Tucson Police Department, on November 14, 2021, at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers received several 9-1-1 calls reporting shots fired from a residence at 1655 W. Ajo Way, in a large mobile home community.

When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive male in the roadway with gunshot trauma. Officers immediately began rendering aid; however, he ultimately died at the scene. As additional officers arrived, information was received that identified the mobile home in question.

Officers attempted to contact the occupants of the residence, at which point they located three additional adult males with gunshot trauma. Two of the males located in the residence were pronounced deceased and the third was transported to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries – detectives were later notified that he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Several guests and residents, to include the homeowner, were contacted by police.

According to interviews conducted at the scene, a group of males had arrived to the home and confronted the homeowner and a guest. During the confrontation, gun shots were fired and several people fled from the scene. The homeowner was not injured, but a guest sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the confrontation.

The investigation is ongoing.
