Yuma Police Arrest Double Homicide Suspect

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, Yuma Police officers arrested Francisco Dominguez in connection to a double homicide.

According to the Yuma Police Department, at approximately 5:16 a.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of W. 3rd Street in regards to a shooting.

When officers arrived they found two male victims. The first victim, age 43, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim, age 38, was transported to the Yuma Regional Medical Center and further flown to a Phoenix area hospital with life threatening injuries.

The second victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The 46-year-old Dominguez was booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on multiple felony charges.
