Sahuarita Police detectives conducted investigative follow-up on allegations of child molestation involving Eliseo Hernandez Alvarez during the evening hours on December 5, 2021.
On December 6, 2021, Sahuarita Police Detectives executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence near the 17000 block of South La Villita Rd. During the search of this home, multiple items of evidentiary value were seized.
The 62-year-old Hernandez Alvarez of Sahuarita, was not at home during the search warrant, and he was subsequently apprehended at a residence in the 200 block of W. Placita Sin Fin by Sahuarita Officers.
Mr. Alvarez was booked into the Pima County Jail on one count of Molestation of a Child, two counts of Sexual Abuse,
three counts of Sexual Assault, four counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor, two counts of Child Abuse, and one count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
This case is still under investigation.
