Maricopa County Sheriff Hoping Public Can Identify Deadly Hit-And-Run Driver

Police are looking for the driver of a 2017 to 2018 Ford Fusion, blue in color [Not the actual vehicle]

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is hoping the public can help them identify the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, on December 19th, 2021, at about 6:51 p.m., a bicyclist was run over and killed after being struck by a blue 2017 to 2018 Ford Fusion on Northern Avenue east of Reems Road in Glendale, AZ. The Ford Fusion fled the scene westbound on Northern Avenue following the collision.

The vehicle that fled the should have damage to the front grill area, the headlight assemblies, and the front, right quarter panel (passenger side) outside mirror trim and may have damage to the passenger side of the vehicle including the windshield.
