Three men have been arrested by El Mirage Police officers in connection with a series of shootings.

On December 9, 2021, at approximately 5:30 p.m., El Mirage Police (EMPD) responded to the 12800 block of West Aster Drive regarding a shots-fired call. Upon arrival, officers discovered the residence, occupied by a mother and her young daughter, was struck by a bullet. On December 11, EMPD officers located a vehicle matching the description used during the shooting and officers began to investigate the owner of the vehicle.

On December 21 and 22, EMPD officers served two search warrants at homes in El Mirage and arrested, Joseph Jessy Neil Macaulay, age 20, Joseph Quiroz, age 18, and Christopher Carrillo, Jr., age 20.

In addition to the arrests, seven handguns were seized during the investigation.
