The Phoenix Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the hit-and-run driver who left an officer hospitalized.
According to the Department, the incident involving a Phoenix Police officer on a motorcycle occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. Monday. The officer was traveling eastbound on Bethany Home Road at 26th Avenue when he was hit by a driver making a left turn.
ABC15 News got surveillance video from a nearby cafe which shows the accident and the driver leaving the scene.
