
A 52-year-old woman is in custody in connection with a hit-and-run involving a Phoenix Police officer. The arrest of
Elizabeth Eaton was the result of an anonymous tip.

The tip led Phoenix Police to Eaton’s home where they found the vehicle involved in the crash.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. Monday. The officer was traveling eastbound on Bethany Home Road at 26th Avenue when he was hit by Eaton who was making a left turn.
ABC15 News got surveillance video from a nearby cafe which shows the accident and Eaton driving away from the scene.
