Yavapai County Employee Arrested For Embezzling From One Local Employer While At Work With Second Employer Who Also Suspected Fraud

On Jan.5, 2022 Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report from the owners of a local non-profit reptile rescue that employee Davomana Dalton had embezzled approximately $70,000.00 from the business. Upon receipt of extensive physical evidence provided by shop owners and further investigation by Yavapai County Detectives, Ms. Dalton was arrested on Jan. 12, 2022, at her other place of employment in Prescott.

The second company owner queried the deputies while they were arresting Ms. Dalton and was given known details, to which he responded that Dalton may be involved with numerous suspicious transactions in his business as well.

These cases are presently under investigation, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.
