Avondale Police Arrest Three Young People With Guns, Money, Fentanyl

Three young people are in custody after they were caught with drugs, money, and guns.

Avondale Police Department detectives began a narcotics investigation in Avondale in December of 2021.

On January 27, 2022, members of the Department’s Street Crimes Unit (SCU) served multiple search warrants on homes in the City of Phoenix in connection with the distribution of Fentanyl pills throughout the City of Avondale and other West Valley cities.

SCU detectives’ investigation revealed that suspects Aaron Camacho, Samantha Perry and Jose Arvayo were involved in the distribution of the pills.

The search warrants yielded approximately 35,000 Fentanyl pills, over $300,000 in U.S. Currency, several vehicles, and multiple firearms. All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail pending numerous charges.
