On March 27th, 2022, at about 9:30 a.m., Phoenix Police responded to a family fight call near 24th Street and Cactus Road. Officers arrived and located a young boy and his father who had both apparently been shot.
The father died at the hospital. The son is still being treated for his injuries but authorities expect him to survive.
The investigation is ongoing, and there are not believed to be any outstanding suspects at this time.
