The presumptive Republican challenger to Congressman Raul Grijalva, in Arizona’s 7th Congressional District, Luis Pozzolo, is calling for an investigation by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich into an odd entrance into the Republican Primary race.
Grijalva, a long-time incumbent, is considered vulnerable due to the growing fatigue of his constituents who live primarily in the Tucson area, the fifth poorest metropolitan area of the country.
Pozzolo and many other Republicans are questioning a late entry candidate in the Republican primary who has a history of producing phony petition signatures. The candidate, Nina Becker, was forced to withdraw from the 2020 congressional race in the former District 7, a seat that was and is held by Congressman Ruben Gallego.
It’s a special sort of unity candidate to get both Condi Rice and Vladimir Putin on the same team while also appealing to the Waltons, Bill & Melinda Gates, George Lucas, Jeffrey Epstein, Liddy Dole, Lindsey Graham, and medical professionals like head removal Dr. Seymour Butts. pic.twitter.com/H3C6lnqa5w

“An investigation is warranted based on this candidate’s past improprieties and current questionable petition submissions,” said Pozzolo. A simple examination of the petitions submitted by Becker show a multitude of signatures from outside the designated boundaries of District 7, which is centered around Tucson.
Once Pozzolo has completed his inspection of the petition signatures, he can file a lawsuit challenging Becker’s qualification for the ballot and, if a judge agrees Becker is short of the number of valid signatures required, Becker can be tossed from the ballot.
“General Brnovich must launch an immediate investigation into the potential fraud occurring in this race,” Pozzolo argued, “because I agree that ‘confidence in the fairness of elections in paramount’ and those in authority should do everything in their power to make sure that all elections are free of fraud and manipulation.”
Any candidate who submits false signatures is subject to perjury charges.
