Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Shooting Death Of Kingman Man

On Friday, April 8, at approximately 1:11 AM, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 2800 block of Leroy Avenue in Kingman. Multiple reporting parties called into the Mohave County Dispatch Center to report hearing multiple gunshots in the area.
One reporting party said they heard a male and female screaming and said that someone was shot.
Deputies arrived on scene and observed a single vehicle parked near the 2800 block of Leroy Avenue. A deceased male subject was found in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. The male subject was later identified as Kevin Lee Dennis, 48 of Kingman. Detectives were notified and assumed the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing and the cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office.
