The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the death of an older male, who was run down crossing mid-block on Glendale Road.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to an injured person in the street near 37th Avenue and Glendale Road. When the officers arrived, they learned an older man was found unresponsive in the roadway.
There were no witnesses to the incident but police say the injuries to the victim appeared to be consistent with a traffic collision.
Investigators learned the victim was struck by a silver vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
