Goodyear Police Department Goodyear Police officers have worked day and night over the last 48 hours to investigate the hit-and-run that took the life of 13-year-old Dylan Buensuceso.
Officers arrested 44-year-old Richard Romo in connection with the child’s death on Thursday night.
Dylan was riding his bike home from school when he was hit by a full-size white Ford truck near Estrella Parkway and Elliot Road. Witnesses told police that Romo got out of his truck after hitting Dylan, looked at the scene and then fled.
Romo now faces two felony counts for leaving the scene of a deadly crash.
