Reward Offered For Information About Multiple Marana Fires

A $5000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for a series of fires in Marana one night this month.

On May 13th at 11:30 p.m. the Marana Police Department along with the Northwest Fire District responded to a structure fire in the area of 10000 N. Block of Leopard Gecko Terrace.

When they arrived several houses, under construction, were on fire. The area was contained while NW Fire suppressed the fire. A total of 14 homes under construction were damaged.

A joint investigation by the Marana Police Department, NW Fire, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms has begun to determine the origin of the fire.

The value of the total damage is currently unknown at this time.
