Illegal aliens who do not want to be processed for asylum by federal agents are known as “got-aways. “Got-aways” have ditched piles of carpet shoes recently in an open space on 14th Street, just south of 54th drive in Yuma. The shoes have carpet on the bottom of the soles to prevent trackers from detecting them as they cross the desert on their way to the U.S. border.
