On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at approximately 7:43 a.m., the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting incident in the area of the 5600 Block of E. County 5 ½ Street.
When deputies arrived, they found the victim, identified as Edward Bay, 68, with a gunshot wound and unresponsive.
Mr. Bay was pronounced deceased on scene. Next of kin notification has been made.
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office says the case remains under investigation at this time.
