Phoenix Police Department detectives have identified 27-year-old Amani Kheirollah as the man who shot, ran over and killed 56-year-old John Kearns Sunday afternoon in west Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, Kheirollah’s arrest was made possible with information witnesses provided to responding officers just after the shooting occurred. Detectives sifted through the evidence meticulously to locate and develop probable cause for Kheirollah’s arrest.
Kheirollah was taken into custody on May 31st, 2022 by officers without incident.
Kheirollah was booked for multiple felony charges to include Murder in the Second Degree.
