Phoenix Police Department officers are investigating a hit and run collision that has left a man dead near 24th Avenue and Indian School Road.
On Thursday morning around 4:00 a.m., Phoenix Police received a call of a collision with injuries near the I-17 and Indian School Road. When officers arrived on scene, they learned that a male pedestrian, later identified as Robert Tsiosdia, was crossing northbound across Indian School Road when he was struck by a sedan traveling eastbound.
The driver of that sedan did not remain on scene and was later taken into custody in the area of 11000 North 7th Street. Mr. Tsiosdia died from his injuries on scene.
Currently, the investigation remains ongoing.
