1 Dead, 2 Injured In Early Morning Phoenix Shooting

Phoenix Police detectives are investigating a shooting that results with a man and a woman injured and 20-year-old Jeret Perez-Garcia.

Officers were called to the area just before 6:00 Saturday morning. When they arrived, they found Jeret with a gunshot wound, on the ground, next to a vehicle parked in front of a house. Officers also found another man and a woman in the front yard with gunshot wounds. Witnesses told the officers they heard multiple gunshots and called police.

The fire department responded and pronounced Jeret deceased. The other two victims were transported to the hospital by the fire department with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers secured the scene and gathered the initial information.

Currently, there are no suspects in custody. Phoenix Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Phoenix Police Department or to call Silent Witness at (480)-WITNESS/ (480)-TESTIGO (Spanish) if they prefer to remain anonymous.
