Letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra:

Dear Secretary Mayorkas and Secretary Becerra,

Your departments must immediately cease transporting illegal aliens to have abortions. Abortion is not health care: it kills unborn children and harms their mothers. Federal taxpayer dollars should not be used to transport illegal aliens for abortions or otherwise facilitate abortions.

According to media reports “For the past nine months, U.S. health officials have been flying or driving minors from Texas shelters to other states for abortions.”1The reporting further states that “Biden officials are exploring ways to provide abortion access to women and girls in U.S. immigration custody[.]”2 Using federal resources to transport minors across state lines for abortions or otherwise providing or facilitating abortions for illegal aliens in Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Health & Human Services (HHS) custody is unacceptable and must be stopped.
