Couple Arrested In California For Armed Robbery Of Anthem Jewelry Store

The two suspects in an armed robbery in Anthem last week are now in custody.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, on July 16th, at around 1:00 a.m., the two suspects, Helen Simmons and Mathew Jones were arrested and taken into custody by Huntington Beach Police Department in California.

Th arrest of the 18-year-old Simmons and 22-year-old Jones followed a vehicle pursuit.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office detectives determined that the suspects arrested matched the same description as the suspects involved in the armed robbery at the jewelry store in Anthem, on July 12th.

Simmons and Jones were also booked on various felony charges stemming from the Anthem jewelry store armed robbery.

Jones is currently held on a million-dollar bond on the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office charges. Simmons is currently held on a half million-dollar bond on the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office charges.
