Phoenix Police Investigating After Three Killed In Crash With Stolen Vehicle

Three people have been killed and six others injured after a stolen vehicle crashed into a car at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road in Phoenix in the early morning of July 22, 2022.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the stolen vehicle was going north on 43rd Avenue at an extremely high rate of speed and collided into a car that was going south, making a left turn onto Thunderbird Road. The car that was hit immediately caught fire. Three people inside, all believed to be adults, died from their injuries. There was a total of six people (teenagers and young adults) inside the stolen vehicle. All six were transported to the hospital by the fire department with serious injuries.

Investigators are working on identifying everyone involved in the crash.
