A new Times Square billboard is mocking Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for pushing Americans to buy expensive electric cars to avoid high gas prices.
A billboard reading “ELITE PETE SAYS, ‘LET THEM DRIVE ELECTRIC CARS’” was put up in the heart of New York City by the small business advocacy group Job Creators Network (JCN). The display comes following the Transportation Secretary’s comments suggesting that high gas prices would drive Americans to buy costly electric vehicles in a hearing on Tuesday.
