A Dewey man is in critical condition after a Prescott Valley Wendy’s restaurant employee assaulted him this week.

On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at approximately 4:41 p.m., an altercation occurred at the restaurant in the 3000 block of Glassford Hill Road, Prescott Valley. A customer complained about his food order, at which time an employee came out from behind the service counter and struck the customer in the head. The customer fell to the floor, striking his head, and lost consciousness. Officers and Central Arizona Fire & Medical Authority responded to tend to the customer.

The customer, a 67-year-old Dewey resident, was airlifted to a Valley hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The employee, Antoine Kendrick, of Prescott, was arrested and booked on the charge of Aggravated Assault.

    • You have no clue what the facts are and yet you make such an asinine statement. Shame on you.

  1. Both sides of what story? Whatever the issue, what justifies a young thug pounding a senior into critical condition?

  2. The employee represents another fine individual from the Obama “Hope & Change Generation!”

  3. A man approaches the counter, “Hey, this has pickles on it and I wanted the knuckle sandwich without pickles”.
As Antoine Kendrick violently demonstrates, as a society we obviously have a real problem with equating what’s important in our lives and what isn’t. Beating up a senior citizen over a burger dispute exemplifies this. I personally find it hard to believe that we have slipped into such depths.
Hopefully, this fellow senior recovers from his injuries and Mr. Kendrick gets some badly needed therapy when he gets released from his extended stay in prison.
