Phoenix police are investigating a homicide that has left a 37-year-old man dead.
On August 4th, around 10:30 a.m. Phoenix police received a call about a shooting in the area of 4700 South 36th Avenue. Officers on scene found a male, later identified as Pete Hernandez, inside of a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Mr. Hernandez was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Detectives are actively investigating this incident as a homicide and ask anyone with information to contact the Phoenix Police Department, or Silent Witness if they wish to remain anonymous.
