Over the weekend, Customs and Border Protection officers working the Port of Nogales discovered what they described as a “massive” amount of fentanyl pills, other drugs hidden in the floor of a tractor-trailer.

CBP Nogales Port Director Michael Humphries advised that officers found 1.57 million fentanyl pills, cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl powder.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey retweeted the message and added one of his own in which he call the officers’ work as “excellent,” and vowed to work with CBP to “keep these dangerous drugs out of Arizona – and the rest of the nation.”
