A man is in custody in connection with the death of the woman he was living with in Mohave County.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, on September 3, at approximately 12:37 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence call in 3700 block of W. 12435 South St. in Yucca.

When deputies arrived they found the body of Michelle Bock-Caswell, age 32, and the suspect, Justin James Jarvy, age 33, with injuries consistent with being assaulted.

Two other people were present that also lived on the property.

The detectives’ investigation revealed that Jarvy and Bock-Caswell were living together at this address. Jarvy and Bock-Caswell had gotten into an altercation and Bock-Caswell began yelling for help. The two residents living in a separate residence on the property heard her yelling for help and went to her aid. The neighbors entered the residence and observed Jarvy on top of Bock-Caswell, holding her in a choke hold around her neck. The neighbors began yelling at Jarvy to get off her, however he refused and Bock-Caswell was unresponsive.

One of the two neighbors got into a physical altercation with Jarvy to keep him away from Bock-Caswell. Jarvy then began threatening the neighbors.

Medical personnel arrived on scene, however Bock-Caswell was pronounced deceased on scene.

Jarvy was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries received while being removed from the victim. Jarvy was released from the hospital and transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Center where he was booked for 2nd Degree Murder.
