Young Man Shot And Killed At Phoenix Residence

Phoenix Police are investigating the shooting death of a 19-year-old that apparently occurred at a house party.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, in the early morning of October 15, 2022, officers were called to the area of 4700 North 29th Avenue for reports of gunshots in the area. Officers arrived to see numerous vehicles and pedestrians quickly leaving the neighborhood from what was believed to be a party house. Officers learned that two different valley hospitals were treating gunshot victims possibly related to the ongoing investigation.

One of the victims was later identified as Jarod Tyler who was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The second victim was identified as a 24-year-old female who received non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives learned the shooting included dozens of shots being fired along a large area of the neighborhood. No suspects have been identified at this time.
