The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has made arrests in a double homicide that occurred on October 1,2022 on Papago Street in Gila Bend.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, October 21, 2022 at approximately 9:30 p.m., 19-year-old Kurtis Childs and 16-year-old Aiden Manuel were arrested and booked in connection with the deaths of 25-year-old Emmanuel Boyd Arroyo and 26-year-old Noah Ezariah Arroyo, Jr.
On October 21st representatives for Aiden contacted detectives advising he wanted to self-surrender. Aiden and Kurtis self-surrendered and were booked on the following charges: Aiden was booked on 2 counts of murder 2nd degree, 2 counts aggravated assault and discharge of a firearm in city limits. Kurtis was booked on 1 count murder 2nd degree and 1 count discharge of a firearm in city limits.
