Phoenix police detectives responded to the area of 19th Street and Broadway Road to investigate a fatal traffic collision that left an adult male pedestrian dead.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, in the late evening of October 27, 2022, at about 10:21 p.m., officers responded to a call of a vehicle pedestrian collision. The adult male pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle and was later treated by Phoenix Fire Department where he was pronounced deceased on scene. The adult male driver had stopped his car and attempted to provide the victim with medical care before police got to the scene. The driver of the car was evaluated for impairment; however, no indications were seen.
Detectives took over the investigation.
