Hope For Peace Prompts Libertarian To Drop Out Of Senate Race, Endorse Masters

The Libertarian candidate in Arizona’s U.S. Senate race, Marc Victor, has dropped out and has given his full support to Republican Blake Masters.

Victor said in an interview on KFYI’s James T. Harris show that is was Masters’ desire to support the peace movement that compelled him to ask his supporters to back Masters.

The endorsement, given that the most conservative and progressive wings of both the Democratic and Republican parties support a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine-Russian conflict, could move voters on both sides of the political aisle to vote for Masters.

Victor said he invited both candidates to sit down and have a conversation, but only Masters accepted the invite. Kelly, like many other Democrats this election cycle, has relied on the mainstream media to carry him to victory, and as a result, has limited his exposure to the public.

“I found Blake to be generally supportive of the Live and Let Live Global Peace Movement. Likewise, we found ourselves in general agreement about how to improve America and to advance the cause of freedom and peace,” said Victor. “After that discussion, I believe it is in the best interests of freedom and peace to withdraw my candidacy and enthusiastically support Blake Masters for United States Senate. I intend to assist in any way reasonably possible to elect Blake.”
