Across the state on Friday, Arizonans will celebrate Veterans Day with parades and other activities to honor the men and women who served our country in military service.
Also Arizona State Parks & Trails are offering free entrance to veterans, active duty military, and National Guard on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2022. With state parks located throughout Arizona, there are many opportunities to relax and explore the great outdoors. All year long, Arizona State Parks and Trails offers a discount program for veterans and active duty military.
Mesa:
Veterans Day parade starts at 11 a.m. on Center Street and University running south on Center St. to 1st St.
Nogales:
Veterans Day Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. on Morley Ave. with a Veterans Day ceremony at 11:00 a.m. at City Hall.
Phoenix:
Veterans Day parade starts at 11 a.m. on Central Avenue just south of Bethany Home Road.
Prescott:
Veterans Day pre-parade festivities start at 10:30, and the parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Prescott.
Tempe:
Veteran’s Day Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. at Arizona State University’s Gammage Auditorium near 12th Street and Mill Avenue.
Tucson:
Veterans Day parade starts at approximately 11 a.m., at West Alameda Street and South Granada Avenue.
