Laveen Man Sentenced For Dealing Methamphetamine

A Laveen man, Sherwin Tracy Lewis, was sentenced to five years in prison for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to sell it.

His prison sentence is to be followed by four years of supervised release.

According to the Department of Justice, between June 7, 2021, and June 21, 2021, the 48-year-old Lewis possessed 152 grams of methamphetamine within the confines of the Gila River Indian Community. Lewis pleaded guilty on April 28, 2022, to Possession with Intent to Distribute five grams or more of Actual Methamphetamine.
