Phoenix Police Department detectives responded to the area of 2700 West Yorkshire Drive to investigate a fatal traffic collision that left a male passenger dead.
According to the Department, at about 1:20 p.m. on November 14, 2022, officers responded to a call of a vehicle collision involving two vehicles in the intersection of 27th Avenue and Yorkshire Drive. The vehicle which the victim passenger was riding in was making a left turn onto Yorkshire Drive from 27th Avenue when struck by the second vehicle traveling northbound.
The passenger in the turning vehicle was taken to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
The two drivers were both evaluated for impairment; however, no impairment was detected.
