One Dead, Three Others Injured In Phoenix Shooting

Phoenix Police detectives are investigating what led up to a Saturday night shooting that left one man dead and three other adults injured near 2400 Street and Southern Avenue.

Phoenix police officers responded to multiple calls of a shooting at about 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022. Officers made contact with 19-year-old Ty’Lee Marshall who was suffering from gunshot wound. The Phoenix Fire Department took him to a local hospital where he did not survive from his injuries.

While investigating, officers located evidence that led them to a nearby home where a second adult male victim was found and was provide medical assistance. He was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A third adult male victim had already left the scene before officers arrived. Someone took him to the hospital, where he is suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The fourth victim, an adult female, had called 911 during the investigation asking for medical help from a gunshot wound. Officers and Phoenix Fire personnel went to her address and were able to provide care. She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
