Phoenix police detectives are investigating a home invasion that resulted in the kidnapping of 17-year-old Jesse Camacho and the shooting of a man.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers were dispatched to an unknown trouble call at a home near 88th Avenue and Indian School Road. When officers arrived, they learned two men forced their way into the home and shot a man who was asleep inside. The men then kidnapped Jesse from inside the home and drove off in a dark colored sedan.
The man with the gunshot wound was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives say there have been no arrests made and Jesse remains missing. They are asking the anyone with information about the incident to contact the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness if they wish to remain anonymous.
