Detectives are investigating a murder suicide at a business that left an employee dead and lead another man to turn the gun on himself.

Phoenix Police officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a business near 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. When they arrived, they found an employee, 30-year-old Shane Kroll, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers were directed to the parking lot of the business where they found another man, 40-year-old Jaime Flores, on the ground also suffering from a gunshot wound.

The fire department responded and pronounced Kroll deceased on scene. Flores was rushed to the hospital but later died from his injuries.

Homicide detectives responded to investigate the incident. They learned Kroll was an employee of the business and had attempted to trespass Flores. When Flores refused, both men got into a physical fight. During the struggle Kroll pulled out a gun. Flores was able to get ahold of the gun and shot Kroll. Flores then left the store and turned the gun on himself just outside the business.
