Glendale Police Make Arrest In Bizarre Knife Attack On Jogger

Officer with the Glendale Police Department have made an arrest is a bizarre knife attack.

According to the Glendale Police Department, on December 13, 2022, just before 8:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of 5700 W Glenn Dr. for a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a stab wound. The victim said he was out for a run in the area when he was confronted and pushed by the suspect, Jerome Pipkins. Pipkins proceeded to stab the victim with a knife.

Pipkins fled the area prior to the arrival of officers, but not before dropping his wallet, which contained his identification. On December 23, 2022, detectives arrested Pipkins who was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Pipkins was booked for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault Resulting in Serious Physical Injury, and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.
