17-Year-Old Killed In Collision At 33rd And Indian School

Detectives with the Phoenix Police Department are investigating a collision that resulted in the death of a 17-year-old male.

Phoenix Police officers responded to a call of a vehicle collision around 8:30 a.m. near 33rd Avenue and Indian School Road. When officers arrived, they found a male, later identified as 17-year-old Isaiah Soto, unresponsive inside a gray passenger car. The fire department responded and transported Soto to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

A second vehicle involved in this collision was also found in the roadway. The driver, an adult female, was transported with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation remains active and no arrests have been made.
