Buckeye Police Looking For Shooter Of Juvenile

The Buckeye Police Department is looking for a suspect in a shooting that occurred on Sunday of a juvenile.

On Sunday just after 3 a.m., the Buckeye Police Department received a report of a male who had been shot. Officers arrived at the location near Crown King Rd. and 257th Dr. and found a juvenile male victim with a gunshot wound. Officers performed life-saving measures until emergency medical services arrived to transport the victim to the hospital.

The victim remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators learned the victim was with a group of people Sunday morning near St Charles Ct and 255th Dr. An altercation took place and the male suspect displayed a handgun and shot the victim. The suspect fled the area in an unknown vehicle. Another individual drove the victim to the location near Crown King Rd. and 257th Dr. where they called 911.
