Phoenix police detectives are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night in the area of Central Avenue and Indian School Road which left one woman died.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on February 5, 2023, just after 11:00 p.m., officers responded to an injured person call at Indian Steele Park at 300 East Indian School Road. When officers arrived, they located a woman, identified as 29-year-old Karissa Danyelle Hamilton, with a gunshot wound. The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on scene and pronounced Ms. Hamilton deceased.
