yuma county sheriff's office

On Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at approximately 8:11 AM, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) and multiple agencies responded to a report of a possible threat of violence at Antelope Union High School.

The initial investigation revealed a staff member received information regarding a student possibly posting threats of violence via social media and the suspected student was not in attendance that day.

YCSO and the other responding agencies cleared the school premises and stayed on scene to further investigate.

No immediate threats were identified and after several interviews, the threats were determined to be unfounded. As a precaution, Antelope Union High School dismissed students early for the day.
