Phoenix Police Department homicide detectives have identified the suspect in the death of 18-year-old Elijah Johnson, as 17-year-old Sir Amir Williamson.
Detectives learned Williamson was in a verbal argument with his cousin Elijah before the shooting. The incident occurred inside a an extended stay motel near Dunlap Avenue and Black Canyon Highway on April 17.
Williamson left the area before police arrived and is currently out on the loose.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness if they wish to remain anonymous. Williamson is considered armed and dangerous, so they are asking anyone who locates Williamson to not approach him and contact the police immediately.
