Suspect Arrested In Yuma County Murder

On Monday, May 22, 2023, at approximately 2:05 p.m., the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased man in a residence in the 18100 Block of S. Avenue 3E.

When deputies arrive on the scene, they found the man, Anthony Jordinelli, age 57, with apparent lacerations and unresponsive.

Investigators received information that the suspect, 37-year-old Nicholas Harder, was hired to work on the property. A tip was received regarding Harder possibly being at Yuma Regional Medical Center seeking medical attention for his injuries.

Deputies were able to locate and detain Harder leaving the hospital.

Harder was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on 1st Degree Murder.
