Phoenix Police Hope To Identify Man Killed In Dumpster Fire

The Phoenix Police Homicide Unit is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a deceased man.

Phoenix police are hoping to identify a man who was killed in June in a dumpster fire.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on June 16th, 2023, at approximately 12:11 a.m., the unidentified man entered a construction trash dumpster at an apartment complex located at 3421 West Dunlap Avenue. Soon after entering, a fire ignited and the man was killed.

Investigators believe the victim was:
· Black or Hispanic male
· Between 40 to 60 years old
· 5’2” to 5’7” inches tall
· Approximately 120lbs
