Phoenix police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Monday night on July 17, 2023 near 30th Avenue and Adams Street.
On July 17, 2023 just before 11:00 p.m., officers responded to a call of a shooting near 30th Avenue and Adams Street. 47-year-old Martin Burrola Jr. was found suffering a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries where he later died.
Detectives responded to take over the investigation. Early information indicates Burrola was in a confrontation at a nearby property that escalated into a shooting.
The suspect remains outstanding.
