An arrest has been made by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office in connection with the death of a Kingman man, Brandon Parlanti.
The 50-year-old Parlanti’s remains were located in a remote desert area near Alamo Rd. and Boriana Mine Rd. in Yucca. His remains were positively identified on July 11, 2023.
Mr. Parlanti’s remains were initially found amongst a large pile of debris wrapped in a tarp, and the incident was labelled and is being investigated as a homicide.
On Wednesday, detectives arrested Shannon Allen Powell, 29, of Yucca for 2nd Degree Murder and Abandonment of a Body, both felonies.
